Heritage influences play an important role throughout Altamira. The design incorporates the neo-Gothic façade of the historic Sunday School Building and acknowledges the mid-century character of the neighbouring Canterbury Baptist Church. These elements help create a building that feels connected to its local context while remaining distinctly contemporary.
