Designed by the respected experts at Eckersley Garden Architecture, the landscape design within Altamira is heavily influenced by Canterbury’s many public and private gardens, and creates a variety of outdoor spaces that provide residents with opportunities to connect with nature.

The Central Garden provides over 280 square meters of garden and outdoor seating, perfect for neighbours and friends to socialise or admire the spectacular and treasured mid-century stained-glass façade of the Church Worship Hall.

Irrespective of which street you choose to enter Altamira from, you will always be greeted with a verdant garden setting.

From Boronia Street, residents will experience a beautiful, meandering pathway, lined with landscaped gardens. Private outdoor seating also features here, should you wish to sit and enjoy the setting.

The Canterbury Road entry experience is also framed with extensive gardens and canopy trees that have been carefully selected to complement the historic plane street trees of Boroondara.
